The school building does not open until 7:25. Please do not leave your child unattended before 7:25.  

We are a neighborhood school, so please remember to watch carefully for students that are crossing neighborhood streets when walking to school.

Our drive through areas are for moving traffic. If you are using the drive through, you must remain in your car. When students are dropped off, students need to cross through the crosswalk.

Please be mindful of the cross walk areas as they extend all the way through both lanes. Please be watching carefully for students and staff.

Please do not use our parking lots for dropping off students and kindly refrain from parking in reserved spaces.

Refrain from using your cell phone. It is prohibited in a school zone unless the driver is using a hands-free device or the vehicle is stopped, according to Texas Transportation Code. Drivers can face a $200 ticket if caught using cell phones in school zones.

Every year children are hurt and killed due to the negligence of motorist in the school zones around school buses. Motorists need to pay close attention to school zones and keep their speed limit to 20 mph during morning and dismissal hours. Children will be children, so pay special attention to the school buses loading and unloading in the City View Bus lane and students using the crosswalks on Knoll Drive.

During loading and unloading, motorist going both directions should not pass a school bus when the lights are flashing. Make sure the roadway is clear of all children before proceeding on your way. If everyone would remember “Yellow Means Caution,” we should all have a safe and wonderful school year.
